Navigating through the MantlePlace: How to Buy NFTs on MantlePlace
As the debut of the premier lineups on MantlePlace draws near, it is important that users know precisely how to participate. This walkthrough provides a detailed guide on how to use the MantlePlace platform to purchase non-fungible tokens. Let’s jump right in.
First things first, you’ll need to set up an account. To do this, head over to The MantlePlace and click “Sign-up.” You’ll then be prompted to input a username, and you’ll need to review and accept the terms and conditions of the MantlePlace.
After this, you’ll be given your AssetMantle address, and below that, a recovery phrase consisting of four randomly generated words. It’s extremely important that you record these words and save them in a safe place.
This recovery phrase can be used to regain access to your account at any time, but beware; others can also use this to recover your account, so make sure your phrase stays hidden.
Next, you’ll be prompted to establish a password, and then input your recovery phrase in the order it was recorded to confirm. Once you’ve done that, click “Next” and you should have successfully created your account!
When you sign in to your account, you’ll be taken to your MantlePlace profile. Here, you’ll see four tabs: “Collected,” “Created,” “Whitelist,” and “Wishlist.”
The “Collected” tab will have all the NFTs you have bought and are currently in your wallet. The “Created” tab contains all the NFT collections that you’ve previously created. The “Whitelist” tab shows all the previous and current whitelists that were created. And the “Wishlist” tab allows you to track NFTs that you are currently interested in.
If you wish to participate in a whitelist sale, users will typically receive a link from the NFT creator. These whitelist spots are limited, so it’s best to register your interest with the creator early.
When you have access to the whitelist invitation, copy the URL and paste it into your browser. You’ll then see the whitelist details, such as the whitelist name, description, maximum members, and starting and ending periods. If you would like to participate, click “Accept.”
Once you’re on the whitelist, you’re ready to purchase your NFT! To do this, click on the “Explore” tab, which will bring you back to the MantlePlace homepage. Scroll down until you see an NFT you want to purchase, then click on that collection. You’ll see the NFT image with the sale details on the right-hand side.
Information such as the sale price and sale end date will be displayed. Click “Buy Now” and identify the number of NFTs you would like to buy, establish your desired fee, and input your MantlePlace password. Click “Submit” and congratulations, you’ve now purchased your first AssetMantle NFT! It will now appear in your “Collected” tab.
To log out, click the icon in the top right corner and select “Sign Out.” Before doing so, you can turn on desktop notifications to keep track of your preferred NFT collections.
